Young goalkeepers train with the first team

Poole Town men’s first team welcomed two of our young goalkeepers to join in with pre-season training.
In the first of what we hope will be many opportunities for a host of our youth players, it was the turn of Alex Hardy and Taylan Blacker to get involved.
Starting off with some warmup sessions with goalkeeper, Ben Taylor, the lads impressed with a string of demanding keeping drills.
From there, it was onto a training drill involving the whole team. Both lads receive plenty of praise from their defensive unit for their awareness, calmness, handling and distribution.
So a solid 2 1/2 hour session which both lads took part in to the fullest. Thanks to all involved with the first team for making this happen.
