Our fantastic U12 Girls completed their first competitive season in impressive fashion, claiming the Division 2 League Title and gaining promotion to Division 1 next season!

The 2024/25 season saw the girls move to U12, which is the first age group at which scores, results and league tables are recorded in competitive format. The team relished this opportunity to challenge themselves every week and soon got into their stride, ultimately racking up 11 wins and only one defeat in the league throughout the whole season.
The girls started their football journey at U10, with many players from that original squad still in the team today. Their development into a competitive team that shows great determination, resilience and respect week-in-week-out is a credit to their coaches Lauren Kelly, Becca Witherington and Karl Bennett - and, of course, the girls themselves!

Coach Lauren Kelly, who also plays for the Poole Town Ladies first team, commented "What a season! Words can't express how proud we are of the girls. They worked so hard and got the rewards they deserved - winning 11 out of 12 league games in their first competitive season, being County Cup semi-finalists and League Cup quarter finalists. All their energy and effort made us incredibly proud. Really looking forward to how they tackle this next challenge in Division 1 and 11-a-side football. Up the Dolphins!"
A massive well done from the club to the girls and coaches alike, and we look forward to seeing what next season brings!
