It goes without saying that we are proud of all of our managers, coaches and assistants whom without, we would not be able to be in a position of providing over 300 individuals with football during the season.
It gives us even greater pleasure to announce that three of our managers have won Manager of the Year 23/24 for their respective divisions.
During the season, all managers mark their opposing team managers/coaches each match for their actions and attitude during said match. These total results plus extra calculations by the Dorset Youth Football League (paperwork, discipline etc) and then added together to crown the Manager Of The Year. For us, these awards mean a great deal especially as they are being marked by their peers on what can be a testing time on a matchday.
So well done to:
Pete Neville U12 Manager - Dorset
Rob Boreham U14 Manager - Dorset
Will Singleton U16 Manager - Dorset
Well done to all three Managers.
A little extra word to thank Will Singleton who, after many many years of voluntary managerial service, has decided to pack away his coaching kit for the last time. Everyone at the Club wishes you all the best in your (very early in our opinion!) retirement - and don't forget...there is always a new U7 team looking for a quality coach when you find yourself without anything to do of a weekend!!
Finally thankyou again to ALL of our volunteers who give up their time to help the Club function including our managers, coaches, assistants, parents, club secretary, treasurer, pitch magician and many more!
Thank you.
