Our fantastic Ability Counts group took part in the Inclusion Cup this weekend.
Facing off against AFC Bournemouth, Dexters and Longfleet, the Poole Town FC Headway group enjoyed a great day, playing three games, winning all three and keeping three clean sheets!
Karl Bennett, stepping in late in the day and taking charge of the team for the first time in the absence of their usual coach who had prior commitments said:
“On a dull Sunday afternoon, these incredible players brought the County Ground to life.
In adverse weather conditions, footballers of all ages came together, showing skill, determination, and true teamwork.
Poole Town FC Headway set the standard from the start—three games, stunning goals, great slick passing and three clean sheets.
Performances like this prove the future is bright, and this team is only going forward.”
